Hyaluronic acid was sort of a game changer for me. As a traditional oily skinned gal, I stay away from thick cremes and anything that feels heavy on my skin. When I was in esthetics school, I learned about the wonderful thing that is called hyaluronic acid. The product has a very liquid-y consistency (like a serum) but quickly soaks into the skin. The molecules are smaller than most serums and it can travel deeper into the skin. It not only provides a little moisturization, it tells the moisture that’s already in the skin to stay put.
I love the way this feels on my skin, it’s very light and feels like I’m giving my face a drink of water. It takes about 30 seconds to fully soak in and doesn’t leave behind any residue whatsoever. I’ve been using this at night for about 2 weeks underneath my moisturizer. A half pump is enough to distribute all over my face. Between all of the products that I use and test on my skin, it’s easy for it to feel out of whack. I started using this and it’s help give me more balanced skin, not too oily and not too dry. I would recommend this to anyone, any skin type (especially if you travel a lot, hyaluronic is a MUST!).
