I can get on board with anything that has “Sparkle Vinyl” in the name. Unless it’s hot pants.
I couldn’t resist picking up this magenta glitter gloss. It’s like it was calling my name. After twisting open the cap and pulling out the applicator, the first thing I noticed was it’s large size. It’s almost 3x as big as a regular doe foot wand (comparison pics later). The first time I wore this, I applied it like a regular gloss, fully swiping my top and bottom lip. Big mistake. Waaaaay too much product, I’m pretty sure I ended up eating some of it (yuck!). Now I just use the tip of the applicator and put a small amount on upper and lower lips and rub together. The gloss is very tacky, so if you’re not a sticky lip gloss kind of gal keep that in mind. It also has a peach scent which I actually enjoy. The color goes on fairly sheer and the glitter is apparent when wearing it on the lips but not overwhelming. This wears for about 3 hours on me before starting to fade. My biggest issue: some of the glitter stays around after the gloss fades, leaving you with glitter lips.
Overall
It’s a pretty lip gloss, especially if you’re a fan of glitter. The color is a sheer magenta with iridescent glitter particles. The peach flavor and tackiness may not be for everyone. The giant doe foot applicator does not “optimize the perfect amount of product.” It applies entirely too much, you’re best off using the tip of the applicator. After the gloss wears off, some of the glitter sticks around on the lips.
