Spray Glosser: SUPER lightweight, non-greasy formula that lubricates the hair with Australian Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca Alternifolia), helping reduce itching and flaking. Great to use on dry, damaged hair, leaving it smooth and shiny. Use for extra control around the edges, quickly controlling frizz and flyaways.

Happy Monday!  How was your weekend?  Mine was really good, I traveled back to my old college town for my bf’s high school reunion (10 years!).  It was so much fun, but it’s also crazy how much has changed!  I guess we’re like grown ups now, er, something…

I may be getting older, but my hair is looking fabulous thanks to Parnevu.  I’ve been using the T Tree line for 2 weeks and I haven’t looked back.

Shampoo:  You can definitely smell the t tree oil in it (which if you’ve ever smelled t tree oil, you know it’s quite unpleasant).  However the strong scent is slightly masked by some of fragrance isn’t detectable after rinsing.  I use about a quarter sized amount in my long hair.  The first couple times that I used it I felt a slight tingle in my scalp area.  From what I can tell, this has helped lock in moisture and doesn’t dry out my hair.  It also claims to help stop itching and help prevent flaking.  I don’t have an itchy or flaky scalp, so I can’t speak on those claims.

Conditioner:  Well, it took me three times to use this product correctly.  The first time, I just used it like a regular conditioner and rinsed it out.  My hair was fine, but I noticed the next day that my hair didn’t feel as soft as it normally does.  After reading the bottle (as it clearly states on the front) it’s a LEAVE-IN conditioner.  Duh.  So the next time I used it I reminded myself that when I stepped into the shower.  Well, I’m a dummy and I started to rinse out my conditioner AGAIN and then I had to quickly stop myself.  Third times a charm, I finally had conditioned myself to NOT RINSE IT OUT.  This also smells strongly of t tree oil but is slightly masked by a fragrance.  I haven’t noticed the scent sticking around after I dry my hair.  I was afraid it would feel heavy and greasy.  To my surprise, it didn’t at all!  My hair feels softer and smoother after using this.  It does help lock in moisture and from what I can tell, has helped strengthen my hair.  It also claims to prevent itching and flaking, but again I can’t speak on those claims.

Spray Glosser:  This one smells really lovely, no t tree scent at all.  I’ve used it on damp hair and dry hair.  It really helps seal in moisture and gives my hair some shine without weighing it down.  It says to spray 2-3 pumps in your hands and work through hair.  I use 4-5 (I have a lot of hair) and work through my hair.  I don’t use this on my scalp (I don’t use any sort of oil in that area) I just use it from mid to ends.  It does help give my hair a nice shine, but I can’t speak on its claims to fight frizz and reduce flaking/itching.  I’ve been using this every day, it makes my hair feel very soft!

Overall
The shampoo (from what I can tell) helps lock in moisture and I felt a slight tingle in my scalp the first few times I used it.  The LEAVE IN conditioner surprisingly doesn’t weigh my hair down and has made it feel noticeably softer.  The t tree oil scent is fairly strong in both products, but it’s not detectable after rinsing/drying.  The spray glosser has made my hair feel soft and smooth without feeling greasy.
