Origins says (Ginzing): Nature’s clinically-proven morning-after eye cream instantly reduces dark circles. Unsightly bags and puffiness virtually disappear. And Origins proprietary complex of Caffeine from Coffee bean, Panax Ginseng, Magnolia Extract and natural optic brighteners rapidly wakes up, refreshes and restores radiance to tired eyes.
Origins says (Plantscription): This moisture-rich cutting edge eye cream with Anogeissus visibly helps repair crow’s feet, under eye cross hatching, crepey lids and sagginess without irritation. You get a naturally youthful look that’s not all nipped and tucked. So give your eyes this amazing new lift from nature and see a younger-looking you.

I’ll admit, when I’m in a hurry or being lazy, I skip out on eye cream.  However, as I’m getting older (wahhh) I’m willing to do anything to turn back the signs of aging.  Concealer has become my newest BFF when hiding the dark circles under my eyes, but I also want to help actually treat the problem.  That’s where eye cream comes in handy!

The GinZing feels light and soft to the touch.  I dot a small amount throughout my lower orbital socket and lightly tap to get the product to soak in.  It also has a little bit of caffeine in it, to help with puffiness (score).  My favorite thing about it?  It has a little bit of luminosity to it, so it help reflect light and hide that pesky dark circle.  It’s the perfect skin prep for concealer!

Plantscription is a thicker, creamy formula.  Origins says that it’s for dry/combo skin types, but it works fine for my oily skin (I don’t tend to get oily around my eyes…).  I like the way it feels on my skin, it doesn’t feel heavy at all.  Origin’s claims that this “lifts and firms,” however I can’t attest to either of those claims.  My biggest problem with my under eye area is the dark circles, so I’m not a good candidate to judge it’s lifting and firming properties.

Overall
GinZing is a light, luminous formula and worth checking out if you’re concerned with dark circles and de-puffing.  Plantscription is worth trying if you’re more concerned with lifting and firming the eye area.  Both are formulated for sensitive skin using potent plants, organic ingredients, and natural essential oils.
